PHYLLIS T. MILLER
Phyllis T. Miller as Director of Meroe Artist Group is the culmination of not just a remarkable deal, but a well earned and spectacular life. This is simply the next logical chapter.
A life that began in the projects of South Los Angeles to the hardest working parents since James Brown, who taught Young Phyllis the values of Western American Civilization & Conservatism, like self-reliance, study, education, integrity, hard work, and American Exceptionalism and talent are greatly rewarded.
Phyllis's decisions with her parents guidance and support placed her on the fast track to American success.
Her decision to accept the summer studies scholarship at the Art Center College of Design upon the recommendation of Mr. Richard Johnson, (See image below), a dedicated art teacher who gave up the advantages of university position to teach the underprivileged, set the foundational direction for Young Phyllis's passion and life of achievement.
From fine arts studies to the martial arts Phyllis achieved. Scholastically, Phyllis set out for a university education, which caused her to seek out the United States Navy and the GI Bill which provided for her education funding. As a Vietnam era veteran, Phyllis began studying everything from economics to corporate finance, and art history to logic.
As a young Capitalist in her mid-twenties, after her first real estate deals, Phyllis opened the first privately funded Summer Computer Camp for under-privileged kids in South Los Angeles. Child Technology was the first computer center strictly providing academic applications in Los Angele County California.
After retiring at Thirty-Six (36), from the prestigious Meroe Wall Street Firm, Phyllis devoted her time to business and corporate development, her art, veterans affairs, and too many philanthropic pursuits to outline here.
Today, Her life of accomplishments is too extensive to do justice to it here. Phyllis is continually sought after for advisory in transactions worldwide. Her project interest range from membership in the prestigious American Legion, to her established Business and Artistic project, known as "The Veterans Art Venue"
Today, Phyllis T. Miller has expanded Meroe Artist Group/Meroegallery and will provide directional leadership from a prospective that only she can provide.
