A short story behind the Combat boots through an art transformation.
Combat and dog tags are the standard issue of every person who served in the armed forces. While my dog tags are in safe keeping, I transformed my combat boots by a hand painted process with a special blend of fabric and acrylic paint with a finishing treatment of a polyurethane coating. The color selection is based on a symbolic sense of a new journey to my art. The military is a testament of my art on combat boots, as I wear art to evoke the senses.
