is veteran art project, formed by Artist/Veteran, Phyllis Thomas, for the purpose to serve the veteran community by providing art therapeutic sessions. The sessions are held four times per year, at The West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Medical Center.
Veterans Art Venue (VAV) is currently expanding to local communities as per the needs for therapeutic solutions to mental health issues, specifically, PTSD, and related conditions. Our video offers a glimpse of the impact and how art empowers. We would like to express our gratitude to the supporters and sponsors who have contribute to this art project of healing.
